The Campaign

I’d saying shockingly good.

Two men compete to become Senator in North Carolina. Congressman Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) is pitted against Marty Huggins (Zach Galifianakis). Marty Huggins is a small town guy who is being used by two powerful CEOs who want to control the land in the state.
I really had no expectations with this movie. A friend wanted me to go, so I went for the sake of being a good friend. Will Ferrell movies can totally bomb or end up being really good (like Elf). The storyline is pretty good, and Marty Huggins is so funny. There’s definitely some language in the movie, and a few other inappropriate things, but what do you expect from a Will Ferrell movie? There are funny political digs, and it fits in with the atmosphere of the upcoming presidential elections.

I’d say, go see it if you want a chuckle. But don’t expect too much out of it.
